These replacement filters are designed for Brita pour-through pitchers and dispensers. A pitcher is not included.
How often should I replace each filter?
For best performance, replace the filter every 40 gallons or approximately every two months.
Do the filters need to be soaked before use?
No pre-soaking is required. Wash your hands, unwrap the filter and flush it with cold water for 15 seconds before inserting it into the reservoir. Discard the first three pitchers of filtered water or use that water for plants.
What do these filters reduce?
They reduce chlorine taste and odor, sediment, water hardness, and copper, cadmium and mercury that may be present in tap water. Substances reduced may not be present in every user's water.
